Firefox icon sitting pretty in the system trayIf your workplace is one of those rare ones where Firefox is installed, you’re certainly going to need this little extension called MinimizeToTray.

All it does is let you minimize Firefox to an icon in your system tray when your pointy haired boss is nearby, so that he doesn’t know that you’re in the middle of typing a comment in a lolcat forum. He’s gone? Right click on the tray icon and select Restore Window or double-click the icon.

With MinimizeToTray you can also:

1. Minimize Firefox to the system tray by using the short cut Ctrl+Shift+M.
2. Always minimize Firefox to the system tray instead of the taskbar.
3. Always minimize Firefox instead of closing it.
